2 sticks butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
Cream Butter + Sugar, add the Molasses and Eggs
Mix Together:
4 c. flour
2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
2 t. cinnamon
2 t. cloves
2 t. ginger
Slowly add the dry ingredient mix to the butter mix until a smooth and creamy consistency is reached. Roll into small balls (or initials!) and then in sugar. Grease (or use parchment paper) a baking sheet and place balls on the sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
*Most people prefer these cookies undercooked.
**Jesse, Larry, and Lauren prefer these cookies smashed flat just after they are taken out of the oven.
