Auntie Chele's Quiche

1 cup half/half
1 lb. bacon, cooked & chopped
1 c. shredded swiss cheese
4 eggs
1 medium onion, chopped finely
1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. white pepper
1/2 t. salt

Beat eggs with fork, then add half/half and mix. Add all other ingredients and mix. Pour into prepared pastry crust. Bake 350 degrees for 45 min. until golden brown.

Can substitute broccoli, mushrooms, chopped stewed tomatoes or spinach for the bacon.
