Kristen Bruya's Lemon Squares


Mix and pat down on bottom of jelly roll pan:
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. butter, melted
2 T. sugar
Bake until light brown at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

Mix and spread on above:
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 t. baking powder
1 T. flour
Bake about another 20 minutes.

Glaze while still warm with:
1 c. confectioner's sugar
1 T. butter, melted
rind and juice of 1 lemon

Makes 4 dozen bars.  I double or triple the lemon.
